This four-session course is geared towards any nonprofit staff or board member looking to gain a better understanding of board member responsibilities. Board members will be better equipped to hone their best governance skills and in return will be a better advocate for their nonprofit. This in turn will benefit our whole community. 

The Fall All on Board program will be offered from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., expanding access for individuals whose work and personal schedules make it difficult to attend the spring morning sessions, the program kicks off October 7 and covers these board governance topics:

  • The Board Member’s Work

  • The Work of the Board

  • Making Meetings Work

  • How Fundraising Works
