New Board Development Opportunities
Board Forward is a leadership development initiative designed to strengthen Executive Director and Board Chair partnerships and build a more resilient nonprofit sector across York County. Offered in collaboration with the York County Nonprofit Collaborative, Board Forward will bring together up to eight nonprofit leadership pairs for a six month, in person cohort from May through October.
This program is designed for organizations ready to strengthen governance practices and combines expert led sessions with peer learning to enhance leadership alignment, clarify roles and responsibilities, and build stronger board and staff relationships.
Registration is now open, and the deadline to register is April 3.
Get on Board is a biannual event designed to connect Leadership York alumni with local nonprofit organizations seeking board and volunteer leadership. Structured as a fast-paced networking experience, this series allows alumni to explore board, committee, and volunteer opportunities that align with their passions and skill sets while nonprofits gain access to informed and engaged community members.
Our Spring event is coming up on Wednesday, March 25 from 5:00-7:00 PM at DreamWrights Center for Community Arts.
Registration is now open for nonprofits and will close on Wednesday, March 4.
Thank You, Alumni!
Our first ever Alumni Impact Day was one for the books, and it’s all because of you.
While we set an ambitious goal of $10,000, we are incredibly proud to share that we reached halfway to that milestone in our inaugural year. That is something worth celebrating.
Beyond the dollars raised, the true impact of the day was even greater. We reconnected with alumni who went through our programs in the early 2000s, welcomed dozens of first-time donors, and saw so many new and familiar faces show up to support Leadership York in person. The energy, generosity, and pride in this network were undeniable.
We’re deeply grateful to everyone who gave, shared, stopped by, and supported us throughout the day.
And the best part? Alumni Impact Day is here to stay.
We are already excited about what 2026 will bring. Stay tuned for details and a Save the Date announcement coming soon.
Thank you for being part of the impact.
