Today we’re celebrating a decade of @kraiger68 at Leadership York 👏 Known for his impeccable style, incredibly detailed emails, unmatched organization, love of all things Taylor Swift, and the tears he sheds at every graduation, Kraig has become an unforgettable part of the LTP experience. Whether you've participated in a program, worked alongside him, or crossed paths with him in the community, chances are he's encouraged you, supported you, or helped you discover your own leadership potential. Last month, our LTP class came together one final time for Closing Retreat 💙 Classmates looked back on an incredible year together, presented overviews of their service projects, and of course wrapped things up with the always memorable LTP’s Got Talent (IYKYK 😉) Stay tuned for one final post as we say goodbye to one of the #BestClassEver ✨

Earlier this month, we celebrated our 2025 FLY cohort 🎓 FLY Graduation is always such a meaningful evening as students reflect on their experiences, share what they’ve learned through presentations and impact statements, receive their certificates, and award grant funding to local nonprofits selected throughout the year. Congratulations to this year’s student selected grant recipients: ✨ United Way of York County’s Ride United initiative ✨ Crispus Attucks York’s Career Focus Institute ✨ STRIVE Workforce Development through Strive PA A special thank you to the York County Community Foundation for partnering with Leadership York to make the FLY grant process possible, and to PennAir for serving as this year’s Program Sponsor. We couldn't do what we do without you!

Last month’s Mentorship York session focused on Building High Performance Teams🌟 Bob Batory shared real world leadership insight on communication, culture, accountability, and what it takes to build strong and effective teams. One major takeaway? Great teams are built intentionally through trust, leadership, and continuous growth👏

LTP’s final sessions 💙 Our Boardsmanship session focused on nonprofit board service, effective meetings, and becoming more engaged community leaders. Huge thank you to Glatfelter Insurance Group for hosting and Graham Capital for sponsoring! We also wrapped up with Leadership in Action, held at RKL, where participants connected with LTP alumni and heard firsthand stories about leadership, growth, and getting involved after graduation ✨

Last month, our FLY students wrapped up their final full-day session of the year 💙 From creating personal mission statements to preparing for graduation, students spent the day reflecting on leadership, commitment, and the impact they want to make moving forward. One of the biggest highlights? Reviewing 20 grant applications and deciding how to allocate $20,000 in funding through our partnership with the York County Community Foundation 👏 We are so proud of this incredible group and everything they accomplished throughout the program 🎓

Next up… Nonprofit Leadership Academy ✨ Over the past month, NLA participants wrapped up with sessions focused on: 📈 Leading Organizational Change 💡 Leading Organizational Effectiveness From conversations around sustainable change and executive leadership to peer discussions on effective organizations, planning, and evaluation, participants gained valuable insight from nonprofit leaders making an impact throughout York County. Thank you to all of our speakers, hosts, and participants for another incredible year of NLA — and a special thank you to Children’s Aid Society for hosting our final session!
