Get on Board is BACK! 🙌 We had almost 20 nonprofits join us last week at Children’s Aid Society for a night of connection, conversation, and community impact. After a short break, bringing Get on Board back (and hosting it twice a year moving forward!) feels SO right. The energy? Immaculate. The connections? Already growing. What a fun way to kick off Friday and the 2026 Give Local York season! 🚗💨 We joined Amy Brillinger from Shadowfax Corporation and Kim Soderberg from the Appell Center for GLY’s first-ever Cash Cab event, where we were driven to the secret location of today’s press conference. Exciting times ahead as we celebrate our amazing local nonprofits and get ready for another season of giving back!💛

October Mentorship York Highlights! This month’s sessions were all about leading with adaptability and heart. Thank you, Mieke and Dave, for inspiring our cohort to grow and lead with purpose! 🌟 The Power of Flexible Leadership with Mieke Driscoll Mieke shared how staying open to change and empowering others helps leaders turn challenges into opportunities. 🌟 Servant Leadership with Dave Kennedy Dave encouraged the group to see leadership through service by leading with empathy, humility, and a focus on lifting others up.
