  • Wilda Reahm-Alessi (LTP 09, MY 15): Named President of the Rotary Club of York.

  • Joy Martin (LTP 23): Named President of the Rotary Club of Red Lion/Dallastown Area.

  • Rebecca Shanaman (MY 18), Sarah Malinsky (LTP 20), & Katelyn Rohrbaugh (LTP 22): Named to the 2025 Women of Influence List by the Central Penn Business Journal.

August 2025:

  • Caitlin Steel (MY 22): Recently accepted a position with the County of York as the new Director of Finance for Human Services.  

  • Deborah Best (AOB 23): Transitioned to a new role within United Way of York County as the Annual Giving Manager and was elected to the Board of Education for Keystone Christian Academy โ€“ York. 

  • Zak Wolpert (MY 22): Recently finished his term as President of the Board of Directors for Bell Socialization Services.

  • Scott Thomassy (LTP 06): Announced as new President of Bell Socialization Services' Board of Directors.

September 2025:

  • Alexa Bejaran (LTP 23) and Chawna Griffith-Myers (NLA 25) were recently appointed to the Board of Directors at the YWCA York!

  • Matt Miller (LDS 10), Penn State alumnus, and elementary school teacher in Central York School District was named Pennsylvania's Distinguished Principal for 2025 by the Pennsylvania Principal's Association.

  • Megan Kreiser (EC 24) was appointed Secretary of the Board at Typical Life Corporation.

  • The following alumni were named to the Forty Under 40 List by the Central Penn Business Journal: Michael Andrews (LTP 23), Dan Boyle (LTP 19, MY 23, BOD 20-Current), Laura O'Grady (LTP 12, MY 22).

October 2025:

  • Jenn Borden (LTP 25) recently joined the board of Communities in Schools Pennsylvania.

  • Catherine Roque (LTP 19, Current LY Board), former LY Board President, secured a racial equity grant through the York County Community Foundation. This funding will support six York County individuals in the Leadership Training Program over the next three years. Read more here!

    • Tom Brant (Board Member 2010-2016) reached an incredible milestone of 200 blood donations at the WellSpan Apple Hill Blood Donor Center. Thatโ€™s 200 pints, enough to potentially help up to 600 patients!

March 2026:

  • Rev. Aaron Anderson (MY 18): Received a Pennsylvania Senate citation, presented by Senator Dawn Keefer, in recognition of his outstanding leadership and service to our community.

  • Meredith Baker (LTP 26): Featured as the first "My Y Story", a new digital campaign celebrating the powerful impact the Y has had on individuals in our community.

  • David Chiaverini (MY 15): Recently became a board member of Bell Socialization Services. ๏ปฟ

  • Harvey Green (EC 23): Honored as part of City and State PA's 3rd Annual Black Trailblazers List! Honorees are recognized for advancing their communities with leadership and compassion.

  • Elle Hale (LTP 20): Recently appointed to the Spring Grove Borough Council and became Vice President of the Spring Grove Area Historical Preservation Society.

  • Tammy Miller (LTP 82, NLA 09): Windy Hill on the Campus Senior Center celebrated the dedication of the Tammy L. Miller Conference Room with a special ceremony honoring Tammyโ€™s 18 years of service as Director.

  • Hunter Schenck (LTP 20): Selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2026, marking her sixth consecutive year receiving this recognition.
