David W. Freeman is the recipient of Leadership York’s 2008 Outstanding Alumnus of the Year Award. Dave is a graduate of the 2002 Executive Connections Class.
He is the president and COO of Fulton Bank. Dave has been a board member of the United Way of York and York County since 2004. He chaired the 2005 campaign which was the first to exceed $7 million. Currently he is the United Way Treasurer, Chair of the Cultivation Committee, and a member of the Executive Committee.
In addition, Dave serves on the boards of the Cultural Alliance of York, Memorial Hospital, the Healthy Kids Campaign, York-Adams Area Boy Scout Council, York County Economic Development Corporation, Family and Children’s Services of Central Pennsylvania, the Penn State York Advisory Board, the York County Builders Association, and Better York. He is a former Board Member of the Housing Council of York, and the YMCA of York and York County. He has participated in fundraising activities for WellSpan, Crispus Attucks, York College, and Logos Academy.

Leadership York has awarded its 2008 Outstanding Business of the Year Award to PeoplesBank, A Codorus Valley Company. This award, which recognizes local organizations for their exemplary commitment to leadership development and community involvement, was presented to PeoplesBank at Leadership York’s graduation ceremony on Wednesday, May 21, 2008.

- On March 20th, a group of Future Leaders of York Class of 2008 participants worked as celebrity scoopers at Maggie Moo’s Ice Cream and Treatery to raise money for Leadership York. The money generated will be used to sponsor a 2009 FLY session.
